Project 691’s inaugural summer intensive for grades 7–12.Spend a week learning robotics alongside the mentors of FRC Team 691. Through 19+ hours of hands-on instruction, you’ll design 3D parts in Onshape, write Java code, and program a real Romi Robot — all in a team-based environment built for grades 7–12.
Hands-On Learning
Program a Romi Robot to navigate an obstacle course using Java code you write yourself.

A 4:1 student-to-mentor ratio means you get real attention from experienced FRC engineers, not just lectures.

You’ll work in a team of four all week — collaborating to design, code, and debug, just like a real FRC build season.

Local Mentorship
Project 691 Robotics volunteers at many places within the Santa Clarita Valley, including the Newhall Library, the Newhall Boys & Girls Club, and Rancho Pico Junior High School FLL Team 54233. We teach young students about the basics of engineering, creating projects that instill passion in STEM from a young age.
Published Resources
Project 691 Robotics has been part of the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) for 20+ years, discovering and synthesizing numerous resources.
